Green Acres Landscape & Construction Co. Inc. commenced operations in 1991 as a local landscape and construction company. It has since developed into a regional company, specializing in athletic field, track, park and playground construction throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts as well as Cape Cod and Rhode Island.
Our company has successfully completed dozens of both natural turf and synthetic turf fields and tracks over the years for municipalities, state agencies, and private institutions. The fields are of various types including, football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, softball and combination fields. Quite often these projects are completed within very aggressive and challenging timeframes.
We employ an extensive array of earth moving equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, off-road dumps, triaxle dumps and dump trailers that enable us to handle any size task. We also have laser-guided dozers and graders and a state of the art global positioning satellite survey system for efficient and accurate layout, ensuring that our fields and tracks meet the most stringent requirements.
Click here for more examples of our work.Our athletic field projects include a variety of elements such as synthetically surfaced tracks, tennis courts, basketball courts, Musco athletic field lighting towers and controls, electrical, fiber and data lines, public address systems, scoreboards, roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, granite curb, modular block retaining walls, fieldstone walls, concrete flatwork, precast concrete curb, pavers, stairways, fencing, railings, grandstands, press boxes, wheelchair lifts, water lines, drainage structures, drainage lines, detention basins, and irrigation systems. Many projects also include field events such as shot puts, discus cages, hammer throw cages, javelin runways, long jumps, long triple jumps, and pole vaults. Our park and playground projects also contain various elements such as play equipment, poured-in-place synthetic surfacing, picnic tables, park benches, waste receptacles, area lighting, water fountains, and flagpoles.
We also have a maintenance division that serves industrial parks, condominium developments and high-end residences. The services provided include weekly maintenance, plant installation, patios, stone walls, pruning, cleaning, mulching and snow removal.
